Page 26 Michigan _________________ 04/06/02 We just got home from a live show. Motown live. So many pretty horses! Amanda was judging and showing so she was pretty busy and still tired from the day before. She had a friend watching her table to keep me company. It was a looooong day. It was a lot of fun though and Amanda was happy, she kept missing classes and still lots of her horses won ribbons. She's got this real cute paint mare 'Delerium' won quite a few things and her big heave Russian draft did real well too. I was a little scared of him at first but all of her horses were really down to earth. No one made that big of a deal even when they got huge ribbons and something called "NAN cards". Amanda actually had her camera today but the batteries were dead. 04/10/02 Well Amanda has pulled my shipping box out so I guess I'm heading to my new host soon. She told me she wished she'd been able to at least take more pictures of me but at least I did get to see a lot of the city. Detroit is a pretty cool place, lots of new buildings, more going up. I'd like to come back in a few years and see how it's coming along. Very good for a place she says some people refer to as a ghost town. Can't wait to see where I go to next!
