Texas

Sue taught me to use the computer, which made my reporting go faster- I wrote quite a bit about my North Texas adventures, but the file says it's "corrupted". Ain't that just the way it is?
So I'll summarize, and hope the pictures come out!
There are lots of horses here and some of them are ALIVE! There are TWO Arabian stallions: one is bay, the other one is chestnut. They sniffed me, but didn't say anything. The other horses, mares and geldings, are mostly grey.
There's a HORSE ROOM, and I had my own spot on the shelf! Everything in this horse room is china or resin. Some of them are very very old. They were nice, and very interested in my adventures. Some of them even have NAN cards, but usually they stay at home in the safe cabinets so they won't get broken. Sue also took me upstairs where I joined a Radio City Rockettes Kick Line of 5-Gaiters and another row of Stone Clydesdales-I'm almost in the same position they are!
A cat also lives here. He's just a little kitten-or he was. You can almost watch him grow. His name is Mordred, and he's not very interested in me. I guess because I don't have feathers all over me, nor rattley things in my tummy, nor do I swing around on an elastic string, and I don't smell like catnip.

Things I saw in Texas:

Whole pastures full of horses called Andalusians. They're all grey, and the breeding heard for the Medieval Times Dinner Theatre. There were mares and yearlings and two-year-olds. |

South Fork Ranch, where they used to film the Dallas TV show. At first I thought they said "South Park", but I didn't see any cartoon characters and nobody died. |

They Vocal Majority chorus, the best men's chorus in the world-they make AWESOME music! |
And......
And then one day, some bad things happened. They were far away, but everyone was sad. Sue had to work some long hours so I played gin rummy with Mordred. (the cat cheats. He keeps using his teeth to mark the cards.)
Sue wrote some special words on me and now 09/25/01 I'm off to Brooklyn, NY!
