Page 22 Michigan ______________________ 03/23/02 I arrived in Detroit after a slight delay at the Post Office. My new host Amanda had to go show ID and sign a bunch of papers before they'd let me go. She then took me to work for a long day of "new Hire Training". Whatever that means. It was a long boring day and by the third training session I was sort of glad I was just relaxing in her backpack. She did sneak off for a while and got me my first souvineer and raided another departments supply cabinet for something called a glue stick which she used to fix up some of the loose pages in my book. We finally got to her house after like 12 hours. She works at a baseball stadium which sounds like it's fun and exciting but they are getting ready for something called 'opening day' which is supposed to be some sort really big deal and there's all sorts of fuss about it.
