Wisconsin
My time is winding down here and so Chris took me to another
site called Timm's Hill which is the highest point in all the state. It is in
Price County, along the Ice Age Trail that Chris likes to hike when she can.
Timm's Hill is 1951 feet and then on top is a tall tower. We hiked up the many
many stairs there to get to the top. It was a little breezy but still I was able
to hold my own on the edge with a very nervous Chris hurrying to get the
picture! For once SHE was scared! Then since there was only one picture left,
for a laugh she just set the camera on the edge after focusing it, set it on
auto, pushed the button and we ran to the other side of the platform! There she
kissed me just as the camera went off! Imagine our surprise when the picture
actually turned out! A fine ending to a fine adventure. Maybe I'm lucky too,
just like the Hodag! Don't tell him but I do believe I am better looking!
Well, now I am heading home and none too soon as we are seeing snow here and
I didn't bring my winter blanket! Brrr! This morning it was snowing so Chris'
Cob, Sir Llanarth and I frolicked awhile and had a snowball fight.
Then we finished up my journal with hot cocoa. I am now on my way home to
Texas.
On the road again..
