Page 24 Michigan ____________________ 04/01/02 Wow this opening day thing must *really* be a big deal- Amanda has been working these long crazy hours. We stayed at work for 14 hours one day! But the boys have been nice and not pulled any office pranks with me like she was afraid they might. The hockey game was loud and exciting! Amanda had some friends at the game, so I sat with them while she worked. She does something called "security" and sits right down by the players bench and keeps drunk idiots from bothering them while they are playing. I don't know if I want to sit close to a bunch of stinky sweaty guys who are missing a lot of teeth but she says she can't afford those seats so she works there because she's a big Red Wings fan. One of the players gave the game puck to a little kid, but she did get me some regular pucks from her friend who helps out in the locker room. Amanda said she writes like she trying to encode everything and will start typing my entries out but she's too tired.
