Missouri
08/09/03 Today we took a trip up to Branson, the music capitol of the world. There were so many things to see. We passed White Water and Silver Dollar City (affectionately called "Steal-Your-Dollar-City" by those who live here) and the new Celebration City! I also had a meeting with one of the most famous horses in history - Roy Rogers' Trigger- when we went to the Roy Rogers' Museum. I was a little afraid when we passed by the Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum. It looked like it had been hit by an earthquake! I calmed down though when my hostess explained that it had been built to look like that in memory of the earthquake that happened years ago that made the Mississippi River flow backwards for three days!!! We then went to the Hollywood Wax Museum which was under attack by a gigantic King Kong! The building itself was made to look like Mount Rushmore, only instead of the president's likenesses, there were four movie stars. Afterwards, we went to the Dixie Stampede Theater where I got to meet some of the horses that were working in that night's performance. Ahhhh..... to be in showbiz. Just kidding!
08/26/03 School started for my hostess today so she's got less time to take me places. Still, her other models are making me feel right at home. They want to hear all about my travels and adventures. I wonder how my girl is doing back home? My hostess told me that Mom told her that she'd wait for me. *Sigh* Lol.

There was quite a delay here as my hostess's computer rejected her new digital camera and couldn't get my pictures printed. She decided that she wouldn't wait any longer, and promised that she would send the pictures to me as soon as she gets them printed.

There was good news today. My hostess told me that I would be on my way to Wisconsin this weekend! I can't wait to get moving! I'll write again soon.
